Polar Bear Plunge
Take a dip in the mighty Susquehanna River to benefit the Lewisburg Downtown Partnership at the annual Polar Bear Plunge. The Lewisburg Rivertowns Team will be selling hot chocolate at the event starting at 1:30 p.m. to benefit the initiative, specifically to raise funds for planning.

How to Register
- Register and pay online with a credit card.
- Register onsite the day of the Plunge starting at 12:30 p.m. Cash or check ONLY.
The registration fee is $20. Register EARLY to get your commemorative t-shirt, while supplies last.
Buy a Polar Bear Hat
Polar Bear hats are $20. All proceeds benefit the Lewisburg Community Garden. One size fits all. These can be purchased during the registration process. As supplies last, hats will be for sale at the Plunge.
The Lewisburg Downtown Partnership relies on the guidance of the Lewisburg Fire and Rescue Squad to determine river safety. In the event of unusually high water or swift currents, the LDP will cancel the Plunge rather than risk participant safety.
Cancellation Policy: Any participant who has prepaid the registration fee prior to cancellation of the event will be issued a registration voucher for the next year’s event. No refunds will be issued. Questions regarding this policy, please contact the Lewisburg Downtown Partnership.
