Seventh Annual Heart of Lewisburg Ice Festival

Time: Friday, February 5th at Noon - Ice Carving begins on site in Hufnagle Park.

Location: Downtown Market Street, Lewisburg

A LEWISBURG DOWNTOWN PARTNERSHIP EVENT WITH LEWISBURG SUNSET ROTARY

Tons of sparkling ice art will grace downtown Market Street, with larger interactive sculptures in Hufnagle Park dedicated to kids. The award winning First Night Ice Sculptors, who carve the State College First Night, will create the ice art. Beautiful historic homes, tree-lined, lamp lit streets and a distinctive downtown shopping district provide the perfect backdrop to the Heart of Lewisburg Ice Festival.

5:30 p.m.--A Cappella Fest at the Campus Theatre kicks off the Ice Festival. Bucknell's four very talented a cappella groups sing to benefit charity. For more information, see the separate listing in the events calendar

FRIDAY, Feb. 5

1 p.m. -- Unveiling of the Ice.

6-8 p.m. -- Ice Fest childrend activities, at Donald Heiter Community Center, 100 N Fifth St

7 p.m.--Earl Pickens & Family Video premiere, Campus Theatre

7-11 p.m. -- Rotary Club Ice Jam, Parkview, 6th Street. Tickets available at Bull Run Inn or online. See listing for more info. Seating limited.

7 -11 a.m. -- All You Can Eat Pancake and Sausage Breakfast, sponsored by the Downtown Lewisburg Lions Club. Lewisburg Club, 131 Market Street.
$6.00 for adults and $3.00 for children under 10.

12-4 p.m. -- Children's Winter Games in the Park, sponsored by Sunset Rotary. Weather dependent

12-3 p.m. -- Yuengling Frosty Kettle Chili Cook-Off, Puirseil Irish Pub, South Sixth

2 p.m. -- Polar Bear Plunge, St. George Street Boat Launch.

4:00--Chili cook-Off and raffle winners announced at the end of the children's games

5:00--Fireworks in the Park sponsored by Color My World

6:30 p.m. -- Jim Wetzel and "Elvis" live at Mya's. No cover. BYOB for patrons of age.

6:30 p.m. -10:30 p.m. -- Cocoafest, a chocolate lover festival for kids at the Donald Heiter Center, 100 North Fifth St.
