Join the fun in Downtown Lewisburg February 3rd, 4th and 5th for the 2023 Heart of Lewisburg Ice Festival.

Watch blocks of ice turned into art as they are carved live in downtown Lewisburg. Starting at 10 am on Friday, stop by the post office to see the Bucknell Bison, sponsored by Bucknell University, emerge. At noon you can head to Hufnagle Park to see our featured ten block sculpture, sponsored by Evangelical Community Hospital and the Weis Markets wishing well being carved.
Saturday, 10am Ice carving begins again in Hufnagle Park, sponsored by UPMC North Central PA and UPMC Health Plan. Service 1st Credit Union and the Susquehanna River Valley Visitor's Bureau are also sponsoring unique ice in the park. Stop by for your photo opportunities!
Saturday morning, start your day with the Sunset Rotary's Frosty 5K.
Children's Activities in Hufnagle Park hosted by Lewisburg Children's Museum, Linn Conservancy and River Valley Nature School on Saturday from 10am to 2pm.
Enjoy a free movie for the family at the Campus Theatre, Saturday at 1pm - Balto
Stroll the shops on Market Street, looking for that perfect treat for yourself, or stop in for lunch or dinner at one of over 20 eating establishments in the downtown. While you are here, visit a few of the vendors on Market Street Saturday from 10am to 4pm serving warm snacks and drinks
Purchase your Chocolate Flight to support the Donald Heiter Community Center, pre-order required. Your flight will include a box of unique chocolates preparing your taste buds for the DHCC's Chocolate Gala that night at the Lewisburg Hotel.
If you are here with the littles, stop by Hufnagle Park for children's activities and photo opportunities between 10 am and 2pm on Saturday,
For the over 21 crowd, consider attending the Pregame the Plunge Party with Gilson Snow and join the parade to the Lewisburg Neighborhoods plunge into the icy Susquehanna river.
Parade to the famous Polar Bear Plunge starts at 2pm at the corner of South Front and Market Streets. Join the brave men and women at 2:30 as they venture into the frosty Susquehanna River. The first 200 registrations for the plunge will receive a free beanie.
Next make sure to warm up at the Chili Cookoff, hosted by Sunrise Rotary. This event will kick-off at 3:00 pm at the Bull Run Tap House on Saturday. Vote for your favorite chili and support the Union County Giving Closet with your ticket purchase, on site.
Warm your Hearts at Brushstrokes, 340 Market Street, where they are accepting donations and supplies for local animal shelters and rescue groups. Items needed are pet food, clean blankets, collars, leashes, dog and cat toys and treats, beds, towels, cleaning supplies and of course dollars are welcomed too. We empty our display windows and then hope the donations fill them up.
Finally, on Sunday, check out Amami, All Star Bagels, Brasserie Louis, Grams and Trevina for a fabulous brunch while strolling Market Street one more time to enjoy the fabulous ice sculptures.
