Downtown Lewisburg - 2024 Board of Directors

Our Mission: We work to ensure downtown remains the heart and soul of Lewisburg

The Lewisburg Downtown Partnership is committed to providing effective, full-time management for the downtown business district.  Through the use of the Main Street Four Point Approach and our two targeted Transformation Strategies, the LDP works to bring together diverse community interests and resources.

We work to increase foot traffic to the downtown district by holding special events and by sponsoring and promoting other non-profit organizations holding events in the downtown.  We create and execute promotional marketing plans supporting the business district and branding downtown Lewisburg as the place to visit for Arts, Entertainment and Dining in the region.  We are committed to promoting architectural and cultural heritage, beautification, and accessibility in our downtown.  We believe in a long-range, proactive and cooperative approach to business expansion and retention.  We believe in meaningful partnerships and good financial stewardship.

Our Vision: Downtown Lewisburg will be the cultural and economic magnet for the region

Lewisburg will be the region’s Core Community for Arts, Entertainment and Dining

    >  Lewisburg strives to lead the region as a destination for dining, entertainment, music, arts and cultural events.
    >  Lewisburg will be a safe, walkable, ride-able and navigable community.
    >  Lewisburg will have a thriving business community inviting local and regional residents, as well as visitors, to gather, shop, work, dine and enjoy their experiences here.

Lewisburg will be the region’s premier College Town

    >  Lewisburg Downtown Partnership will work to create a gateway between Bucknell University and our downtown community.
    >  Lewisburg Downtown Partnership will coordinate with our downtown businesses to support Bucknell University’s initiatives for community engaged learning
    >  Lewisburg Downtown Partnership will engage with Bucknell students, families, faculty and staff to encourage them to visit downtown for events, shopping, dining and enjoying the abundant green spaces.
