Help Us Make It Happen – Volunteer for the Craft Fair!
Hi friends,
The Heart of Lewisburg Summer Craft Fair is coming up on Saturday, May 31st, and we need your help to make it smooth, fun, and welcoming for everyone!
Whether you have an hour or can stay all day, there’s a role for you.
🛠️ Morning Setup (Before 9 AM)
Help us and our 100+ vendors get ready!
You might:
🚚 Assist vendors with unloading
👀 Watch booths while vendors park or take a break
⛺ Set up tables, tents, and displays
🧭 Help with traffic flow (you’ll get a map and radio)
📦 Display signage and event materials
💬 Too heavy or awkward? No worries—just let someone know!
🎪 LDP Tent Coverage (Throughout the Day)
We’d love Board Members and community volunteers to join us at the Lewisburg Downtown Partnership (LDP) tent.
Duties may include:
🙋 Greeting attendees and answering questions
🎨 Supporting our children’s craft station—a simple activity kids can do at the table or take with them
♻️ Encouraging recycling—we’ll have single-stream bins
🗺️ Helping guests find their way to the petting zoo, balloon artist, or nonprofit booths
👀 (The event footprint is small, so everything is easy to spot!)
🧹 Event Wrap-Up (After 3 PM)
🪑 Break down tents and tables
📦 Pack materials and help load the truck
🤝 Assist vendors as they finish up
⏱️ Volunteer shifts are about 1.5 hours, and you’re welcome to sign up for multiple!
📝 Please make a note of the time slot you signed up for so we can keep everything running smoothly.
Volunteering is a great way to connect with the community and support downtown Lewisburg.
