2024 Heart of Lewisburg Ice Festival
Don't miss the feature sculptures at this year's Ice Festival.
Live Ice Carving on Friday, February 2nd
Check out all the details, activities, and opportunities at our 20th annual Heart of Lewisburg Ice Festival HERECome, join the festivities, and experience the heartwarming spirit that defines Lewisburg in winter.
The single block, pre-carved sculptures arrive early on Friday, February 2nd. Solid blocks of ice are then set up in front of the Post Office and Hufnagle Park. Around 10am skilled Ice Carvers will converge at the corner of 3rd and Market to create three unique multi-block ice sculptures. Next to the Bucknell Bison (sponsored by Bucknell University), you will find two more, unique sculptures, (sponsored by Geisinger and Dermatology Partners, respectively).
Our feature sculpture, a giant throne, sponsored by Evangelical Community Hospital, will be carved live on Friday in front of Hufnagle Park.
Next to the giant throne you will find a Wishing Well (sponsored by Weis Markets). Money collected in the wishing well will go to the Central PA Food Bank this year.
All of these sculptures will be carved live on Friday, February 2nd.
