Christmas in July -- Bucknell Campus POWER OUTAGE
Welcome Bucknell Freshman: Aug 22
Composting Program: Lewisburg Borough
Bucknell POWER OUTAGE during Christmas in July
Christmas in July is coming up fast--
Saturday, July 25!
Merchants are encouraged to plan something special for the day, whether it’s a sidewalk sale, seasonal promotion, in-store activity, giveaway, or another creative way to welcome shoppers downtown.
We also encourage businesses to add a little Christmas cheer to their storefronts with festive window displays, decorations, or sidewalk signage. Even a few simple touches can help create a fun, coordinated atmosphere throughout downtown.
Bucknell University has announced a campus-wide power outage from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. that day.
With most campus buildings, technology, and Wi-Fi unavailable, we may see an increase in students, employees, and faculty spending time downtown.
This could be a great opportunity to create extra activity outside your storefront, highlight a special offer, and give visitors another reason to explore downtown Lewisburg.
Merchant Meeting: July 27th
