Parking Survey is LIVE! Take the Survey

Lewisburg Neighborhoods is planning for the future of public parking here in Lewisburg.

The longtime meters are no longer manufactured and we cannot get replacement parts. The borough needs to transition to something new soon…but what?

Please take this anonymous survey about parking in Lewisburg. The results will be shared with the Borough Council to communicate our priorities as the borough makes important decisions about the future of parking here.

Take the survey here: https://forms.gle/yCCRx7vcgkiQ5Vx78

Some people have asked why the survey includes questions about age, household income, and similar demographic information.

First, please know that those questions are completely optional.

The reason this information is being collected is to help ensure that responses are received from a broad and representative cross-section of the Lewisburg community.

For example, if the results show that a particular segment of Lewisburg’s population has not responded, additional outreach efforts can be made to better capture their input.

The goal is not to identify individuals, but to make sure all voices in our community have an opportunity to be heard.

Food for Children - Donald Heiter Center

Help Feed Local Children This Summer

As the Donald Heiter Center prepares for the upcoming summer program, the Center is looking for creative ways to reduce costs while continuing to provide reliable lunches for the children who depend on its meal service.

The Donald Heiter Center is hoping local restaurants, businesses, or community members might be willing to help by donating a meal, contributing food items, or making a financial donation toward summer lunches.

A donated meal could be something simple and kid-friendly, such as pasta, pizza, hoagies, enchiladas, pasticcio, or another easy-to-serve meal from one of our wonderful local restaurants.

These donations would help the Donald Heiter Center manage its summer food budget while also giving the children a chance to enjoy meals from the community around them.

The Center will pick up food donations and supplement meals with fruit, milk, and other items as needed to maintain food service guidelines.

If you are a restaurant owner or employee, have a connection with a local food business, or would like to make a food or financial donation, please reach out to Andrea Tufo at the center.

If you need details such as the number of children served, the number of lunches needed, suggested donation amounts, or food service guidelines, Andrea can provide more information.

Thank you for helping care for local children and make this summer a little more special.

Merchant LDP Website

We’ve recently updated the LewisburgPA.com website to make it easier for both visitors and businesses to find what they need.

One of the biggest changes you’ll notice is the addition of new Community Calendars and Sales & Specials sections. If they look a little empty right now—that’s intentional.

These sections are powered directly by the Locable network, meaning the content comes from participating businesses.

You might be wondering—why use Locable when you already have Facebook or other social media? The advantage is efficiency.

When connected, you can create events, promotions, or updates in Locable and push them directly to your social media, while also appearing on LewisburgPA.com and across the local network.

It’s a simple way to expand your reach without adding more work.

If you haven’t set up your free Locable account yet, now is a great time. Alex at LDP is happy to meet with you one-on-one to help create your webspace, post events, or set up specials.

Training is free, and the platform is free to use. Reach out anytime at [email protected] to schedule a time.
