What is the Great Race?

• #1 Rally Race In America - a timed, controlled speed, endurance competition over 2400 miles of scenic highways and roads.

• Tribute to the Great Automobile Race of 1908: 22,000 grueling miles from NYC to Paris in 169 days.

• Vintage cars averaging 63 years old will travel from Kentucky, through Indiana, Ohio, West Virginia, Virginia, Maryland, Pennsylvania, New York, Connecticut, Massachusetts, New Hampshire and end in Maine.

• Over the course of 9 days, from June 22 through June 30, 120 teams must complete a predetermined 9-stage course that covers 2400 miles and stops in 17 cities in over 12 states.

• Lewisburg is exactly halfway in miles and time!

• Entrants are competing for prizes and they come from Germany, Japan, and all over the United States.

• Festival style once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to see 120 very special cars on display.

Schedule:

8am: Food Trucks Event begins

Noon: Pre-arrival Ceremony

12:20: First car arrives. One car arrives every minute. Each car stays for one hour.

1:20: First car that arrived will leave. Every minute a car will leave in the order they arrived.

2:00: Air Weaver Balloon Twister onsite to make balloons

2:20: Last car arrives.

3:30: all cars will leave.

4:00: Great Race folks will all be gone.

4:00-6:00pm: Food Truck Event wraps up
